Please select the workshop below that you want to take. You will receive an email with your login information after you have filled in the form & paid. Each course is available for 77 days (two and a half months, which mirrors our “in-person” classes) and then expires so you must complete the entire 9 weeks within that time frame or you will miss out on any remaining classes in your course. This is an automated feature so please do not ask us for more time. Once completed, sign up again here for the next level and so on.

Important: If someone else is paying for your classes or if you are using someone’s credit card, please advise them that the payment will show up on their statement as “THEBOOKSHOPADS” so that they know what it is. This is very important so that no transactions are accidentally cancelled which will result in a lengthy process, a paypal cancellation fee that we will need to charge you, as well as your online course being cancelled. Courses paid for on this site are to be taken on this site only and the fees cannot be transferred to our in-person courses (nor can courses signed up for and paid for on that site be transferred to our online courses here).Thank you.


Introductory

Start with this Introductory online course if you have had no other advertising courses where you received feedback/in-class critiques. This class is the foundation for our other courses.


Intermediate

Prerequisite: The Book Shop Introductory online course or at least one semester of a college course that included lessons in advertising concept with in-class critiques.


Advanced

Prerequisite: The Book Shop Introductory & Intermediate online courses or at least several semesters of a college course that included lessons in advertising concept with in-class critiques.


Copywriting/Body Copy/Radio

Prerequisite: The Book Shop Introductory, Intermediate & Advanced online courses or at least a year or more of a college course that included lessons in advertising concept with in-class critiques.


Art Direction/Layout

Prerequisite: The Book Shop Introductory, Intermediate and Advanced online workshops or any other courses elsewhere on advertising concept (not just purely design courses) at a college etc. that included getting in-class critiques on advertising campaigns. It is important to have had multiple classes in concept and coming up with ad campaign ideas before taking this class which incorporates your thinking and learnings from those workshops.


Digital Creative

Prerequisite: The Book Shop Introductory, Intermediate & Advanced online courses or at least a year or more of a college course that included lessons in advertising concept with in-class critiques. The digital realm requires you to have previous advertising concept experience either with our courses here or elsewhere.
